This inventory report provides a catalogue of sage-grouse habitat management approaches implemented by state and local authorities, as well as by local partnerships committed to on-the-ground action to conserve sage-grouse.  The WGWC recommends that state and local governments and their partners review the elements included in this inventory and give strong consideration to the initiatives recorded here when strengthening their own state sage-grouse conservation efforts.

This report is a summary of the findings and opinions expressed at the Western Water Resources Infrastructure Strategies: Identifying, Prioritizing and Financing Needs was a symposium held on November 8-10, 2010.  Over 100 federal, state and local officials, private consultants, investment bankers and other interested stakeholders gathered to discuss the challenges facing the West and the Nation.

This report summarizes the findings and the recommendations but no attempt has been made to develop or express any consensus.  The findings and recommendations do not constitute the views or policy positions of the WSWC or Western Governors, except as otherwise expressed in reports or formal WSWC and WGA policy statements.

Addresses issues related to emerging technologies, safety standards, water needs, and incentives for new facilities. 

A summary of and recommendations from WGA's Industrial Energy Efficiency Workshop held in March 2011. Meeting participants explored what states can do to foster improved energy efficiency.
