Air Pollution Prevention Forum Meeting

 

Tuesday, February 19

 

1:00 p.m.       Purpose of the meeting

·       Jeff Burks/Hap Boyd, Co-Chairs

                        (1)   Review the modeling results from ICF/Tellus Institute and offer any further instructions;

(2)   Discuss the process and schedule for developing the economic modeling results using the REMI model;

(3)   Decide on the format for the final AP2 report to the WRAP, including whether and how to integrate the tribal renewable and efficiency reports;

(4)   Decide on a schedule for delivery of the final report to the WRAP;

(5)   Discuss WRAP actions to implement the AP2 Forum recommendations; and

(6)   Examine experience with demand reduction in the past year.

SIP Guidebook Steering Committee Meeting

1:00 p.m.       Purpose of the meeting and introductions

·       Jeff Burks, Chairman

(1)    Review the guidebook sections that have been drafted and decide on the steps to complete the guidebook;

(2)    Finalize the timing and agenda for the workshop of state energy and air agencies; and

(3)    Begin to engage the EPA regions (Dallas, Denver, San Francisco and Seattle) and EPA headquarters in a discussion of what states need to include on renewables and energy efficiency in Section 309 and Section 308 regional haze SIPs.
