Proposed Generation Projects

 ·        Generation additions in California (4,308 MW under construction of which 2,368 MW expected to be on-line by the end of the year 2001; 6,734 MW in licensing process)

·        Generation additions throughout the Western Interconnection

o       Under construction are 5,925 MW of generation to come on-line in 2001; 3,622 in 2002; and 80 MW in 2003. 

o       Proposed projects that have received their permits, but for which construction has not begun:  412 MW would come on-line in 2001; 1,740 MW in 2002; and 4,080 MW in 2003. 

o       Additional projects are in the permitting process would add:  699 MW in 2001; 4,190 in 2002; and 10,311 in 2003.
