Brief introductory statements by attending Governors emphasizing near-term issues and also that this meeting may serve as a prelude to an end of January roundtable on near-term and long-term energy challenges to be hosted by the Western Governors' Association. Governors expected to attend the Denver meeting are: Jim Geringer, Wyo.; John Kitzhaber, Ore.; Bill Owens, Colo.; Mike Leavitt, Utah; and Gary Locke, Wash. Other governors may also attend.
