Response (This discussion builds on the October workshop in Seattle. Western states/provinces that have
been actively involved in instituting demand response programs will share case
studies on the lessons learned from various
programs. This will include
identifying successful programs, as well as programs that have encountered
significant
obstacles, paying specific attention to answering the major questions raised
in Seattle and what are the next steps in these
states. This session should also
examine the importance demand response will play in FERC’s final rule on SMD.)
