  • What are the fundamental options for moderating electricity prices?

 (2) More generation.  Is it economic? Will it be built? When?

(3) More demand-side response.  What are the policy options? Letting consumers see real-time prices?  (What metering is being put in place?) Financing demand-side measures to capture economic value of peak load reductions?   What is the economic justification for these measures?) Demand-side bidding into power markets? (Who is allowed to bid? Where does the money go?)
