EIM Crossroads Meeting
March 7-8, 2011

The proposed EIM is a sub-hourly, real-time energy market tool that dispatches balanced energy in an economical way while maintaining reliability.

The EIM Crossroads Meeting grew out of the WECC stakeholder process as it became apparent that a forum was needed to answer a number of questions about an EIM and discuss what it would mean for the West.


Joint Draft Environmental Study Identifies Public Lands Best Suited for Solar Development in the West

BLM Draft Solar Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (PEIS) assesses the environmental, social, and economic impacts associated with solar energy development on BLM administered areas in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah.  The 90-day public comment period will include 14 open meetings, beginning in Washington, D.C. on February 2, 2011. The Draft Solar Energy PEIS document is available online at the Solar Energy Development PEIS website
