June 2003

Offered by Adventure Connections of Montana

This premier white water raft trip will be on the Clark Fork River or the Blackfoot River depending upon water levels. There are rapids and good swimming spots to be enjoyed along with scenery that is spectacular and alive with a variety of wildlife and birds. The rafting company will provide the equipment: life jackets, paddles, dry bags, wet suits, and of course, the raft and a professional guide. They suggest you bring shorts and/or bathing suit, shoes you don't mind getting wet, rain jacket, sun screen, sunglasses, t-shirt, and warm dry clothes for the ride home.

A river trip is much more than floating in a raft. It includes pre-river and safety instruction, roaring rapids, swimming, meeting new friends, relaxing along the way, and wildlife viewing. You can expect your river trip to be unique; they all are in one way or another. Plan for spectacular views, wildlife viewing, and a great day!
