Items, uniforms and clothing on display have been well researched and
documented as authentic for the Lewis & Clark Expedition. This
demonstration has been presented over 400 times to more than 25,000 people,
mostly schools and civic organizations and senior groups. George & Chuck
have been active in the Lewis and Clark chapter for 12 years.
George Knapp - will portray Capt. William Clark George is a
University of Montana forestry graduate. He worked 35 years as private
industry forester.
Chuck Sundstrom - will portray Captain Meriwether Lewis
Chuck is a forestry graduate of the University of Montana and he worked for
both the Montana and Wyoming Fish & Game departments and is retired from
the US Forest Service. He is the President of the Travelers' Rest Chapter.
Mike Wallace - will portray Private John Colter. He is the
Vice President of the Travelers' Rest Chapter. He is the membership chairman
for the National Lewis and Clark Foundation.
Jennifer Wallace - will portray Sacajawea. She is 15 years
old and a sophmore in high school.
Francis Weigand - will portray Private Hugh McNeal. Francis
is a retired Physics Professor from the University of Montana.
