Definition
Transportation fuels that are non-conventional (primarily fleet fuels) including compressed natural gas (CNG), liquid natural gas (LNG), propane, gas-to-liquids, blends such as hydrogen/natural gas; and evolving fuels including biomethanel.
Scope
- Role of each of these fuels in the public and private market.
- Characterizations of each fuel and its appropriate use, especially in fleets.
Issues to be addressed
- Can non-conventional fuels serve as stepping stones to a hydrogen future?
