City Green is a Windows-based GIS software application for ArcView designed for desktop computers. The software was developed by American Forests with the National Resource Conservation Service to measure, map, and analyze urban ecosystems. It allows the user to communicate the value of urban ecosystems to community leaders by converting the function of natural systems - stormwater management, air quality, and energy conservation - into dollar values. New data layers can be added such as soil surveys and water quality information.
