The Symposium will take place October 10-12, 2001. The meetings will be held at the Holiday Inn, St. George, Utah. A number of topics will be addressed by experts and participants in completed and ongoing negotiated settlements. Congressional staff and federal representatives will also be on the program.

We expect another excellent conference. Successful symposia have been held on six previous occasions. Attendance has averaged over 250 people. The primary meeting format has been panel discussions with presenters who have been involved in negotiated settlements representing tribal, state, local, and federal governments, interest groups, congressional staff, and others. The meeting schedule has provided opportunities for informal interchange and cultural enlightenment. Participant feedback from the meetings has been very positive. We expect that Continuing Legal Education Credit will be available for lawyers who attend.
