Field Trip to Holcim (US) Cement Plant at Devil's Slide, Utah
Holcim (US) is an original advisor to Western Governors on the Enlibra
principles. The plant at Devil's Slide employs the latest technology to
reduce environmental impacts, while reusing materials such as used tires
that would otherwise be part of the waste stream. The tour includes bus
transportation and lunch. Roundtrip from the hotel to the plant and back
is approximately 3.5 hours. A reservation is required. Please reply to porbuch@westgov.org.
