Membership of the Transmission Task Force
The task force would be organized into a coordinating body and transmission assessment teams for specific geographic areas. In addition to integrating the results of the assessments of transmission needs in specific geographic areas, the task force will: (1) consider any inter-regional transmission needs, particularly between the Western and Eastern Interconnections; and (2) new transmission technologies; and (3) obstacles to both intrastate and interstate transmission siting and construction in order to access clean energy resources.
