Grid utilization working group
The purpose of the Grid Utilization Work Group (GUWG) is to evaluate and recommend to
the Steering Committee reforms to increase utilization of the existing transmission system
with particular emphasis on tapping the latent capacity of the transmission grid to move to
renewable generation.
