Western Renewable Energy Zones – Phase 1 Report

The WGA and the U.S. Department of Energy released a joint report that takes the first steps toward identifying those areas in the Western Interconnection that have both the potential for large scale development of renewable resources and low environmental impacts. (2009)

Developing Alternative Transportation Fuels

Western Governors are encouraging accelerated development and deployment of alternatve transportation fuels and improved vehicle fuel efficiency in the West. The Governors recently released a report on the status of alternative fuels use in the West.
